Five projects demonstrating innovative ideas and benefit for the world we live in will receive US$100,000, and a Rolex chronometer. And... international publicity.

Design a new life jacket (räddningsväst)
tis, 2010-11-09 09:19The Boat US Foundation holds a design/prototype competition that looks for new Life Jacket designs.
Areas the Jury looks at:
* Wearability
* Reliability
* Cost
* Innovation
Note that the contest requires a working protoype that can demonstrate the idea and design.
The application must also include a short video.
The winning design will receive $5,000.00 in U.S. dollars awarded at the 2011 International Boating and Waterways Safety Summit.
