This is the Dell forum where they collect ideas from customers and other (you do not have to be a Dell customer to register with them). Members can see all ideas submitted, cast votes upon them and submit own ideas.

At the moment there is no reward though, which mean they are not seeking idea professionals, but rather customers who are happy that anyone cares about their ideas. The initiative is of course still very interesting, since it shows yet another large actor opening for external ideas.

Then it remains to see if Dell are happy with the ideas they can get for free and the goodwill from listening and involving customers in the idea process. Or if they decide to take the next step and offer rewards. Maybe they already do, but through other channels that we are not aware of... Yet.
